Membership in the Winnebago County Medical Society provides physicians with an opportunity to network and learn from one another and to participate in legislative, educational and technological advancements that benefit their practice of medicine and their care for patients.
The Winnebago County Medical Society Board of Directors is comprised of dedicated professionals who steer the course of our organization's mission and initiatives. Board meetings are held at the WCMS office, 6991 Redansa Drive, on the fourth Monday of the month at 6:00 pm. Meetings are open to all members.
After an incredible 45 years of dedicated service, we celebrate Janet Corirossi and wish her the very best in her well-earned retirement.
Jan began her career in 1980 with Blackhawk Medical Organization and continued her journey when she transitioned to WCMS in 1992. Over the decades, she experienced—and embraced—many changes in healthcare, noting that the industry's constant evolution kept her engaged and informed. She found healthcare to be both exciting and demanding and took great pride in helping people navigate the system with care and confidence.
As Jan enters this next chapter, she looks forward to spending more time reading, traveling, staying active, and being involved with the YWCA’s Senior Women’s Club.
We are deeply grateful for Jan’s many years of commitment, professionalism, and compassion. Her impact will be felt for years to come, and she will be truly missed.
